Thom Marini, Director of Photography, Cinematographer…

As a cinematographer, he has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as Ireland, Germany, the U.K., Mexico and the Caribbean. His assignments are varied and range from award winning commercials for the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City and Las Vegas featuring Frank Sinatra, Paul Anka and Kenny Rogers; to filming Opel’s new car models on the company’s test tracks in Germany; to documenting the lives of the poor in the indigenous villages and colonies of Chiapas, Mexico.

In addition to corporate films, TV spots and documentaries, Thom has acted as Director of Photography for three Independent Feature Films and performed 2nd Unit Photography for a fourth. Thom has been a featured “teaching DP” for many years in Eastman Kodak’s “Stop By & Shoot Film” program.

While film and television production dominated his studies at the University of Miami and Ithaca College, Thom credits the exceptional filmmakers craftsmen and women he has worked with over the years as his real mentors.

 

Lou Angora, Executive Producer, Writer…

Lou Angora has written, produced and directed hundreds of television and radio commercials, corporate video presentations, broadcast programs, and even live satellite video broadcasts. An early interest in journalism formed a basis for his documentary-style approach to video & film production and scriptwriting.

A partial list of clients for whom Lou has written and produced video production assignments includes: Eastman Kodak Company, Xerox Corporation, Unity Health System, Monroe County Health Department, US Department of Energy, National Laboratories, University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester City School District, and more.

Lou is also owner and president of Admar Group, a marketing communications consulting company. He has managed regional, national and international advertising, marketing and public relations campaigns representing corporate and professional clients in public and private sectors.

 

Dan Jones (SaSuWeh, Ponca), Associate Producer…

With work recognized by the Smithsonian, Dan SaSuWeh Jones (Ponca) is a well-known and highly respected Native artist, Producer, writer, and former Chairman of the Ponca Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma.

Dan is one of a few American Indians to become a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA). He has worked for the Walt Disney Co. as an Honorary Imagineer for the Disney America Project. He has won numerous awards as a filmmaker for films he produced for the Smithsonian, NBC, TBS, the Children’s Television Workshop; Sesame Street; as well as the Screen Actors Guild to promote Indian Actors.

Dan resides with his people today, on the Old Ponca Reserve of Oklahoma.

 

Nicolas Fici, Associate Producer, Researcher, Production Designer…

Nick Fici brings a diverse range of skills to the production team. He has over 25 years of experience as a Theatrical Designer and Technical Director and 12 years as a Criminal Defense Investigator and Researcher.

Theatrically, his work spans the entire range of Theatre production. From creating and directing educational youth theatre programs to directing and producing original plays, as well as artistic and technical work on Eastman School of Music Operas and Equity League of Regional Theatre ( LORT) professional productions. He also owned and operated Upstate Props. Which at the time was the only independent prop house in upstate New York providing props and set dressings for stage, screen and video works.

His passion for social justice led him into a career change where he applied his attention to detail and his insatiable inquiring mind to the Criminal Defense field. Nick became a highly sought after licensed Research Investigator working with nationally renowned Defense attorneys pursuing justice for the defenseless and the indefensible.
